This Magnetic Mosaic Art Kit by the Orb Factory contains over 2000 non-toxic square foam magnetic tiles (about .25" square) in 12 different colors, a double sided magnetically receptive board to work on, 4 reuseable templates, zip-lock storage bags, along with information on the history of mosaics and creative mosaic projects. The handled cardboard case makes storing the pieces easy.

Mosaics are pictures or patterns made by placing small colored tiles together. Mosaic making is a very old art form. Some of the first mosaics were made in ancient Greece around 400 BC. Of course, if you look closely at a TV screen, you will notice that the picture has a mosaic like quality since it is made of tiny colored dots.

Your child can create his/her own beautiful mosaics or follow some of the patterns and pictures provided in the kit for hours of creative and educational fun.
