Review of the Homedics 2000E Sound Machine

Strengths: The Homedics 2000E Sound Machine plays six different sounds: Rain Forest, Ocean, Rain, Summer Night, Waterfall and Heartbeat.

This machine is low priced and gives acceptable performance.

Weaknesses: The Homedics 2000E Sound Machine plays a short segment of sound that continuously repeats. On sounds with a cricket or bird chirp this repeating becomes annoyingly obvious. On sounds that are smooth the looping is hard to detect.

Made in China and has the characteristic cheap construction along with a low price.

Customer History: A medium percentage of returns. Most returns are for DOA units. When a unit is returned, the most common reason given is "it is defective".
